Maria Wilson is a passionate and energetic 6th–8th grade choir teacher with Osseo Area Schools, where she loves helping young singers find their voices and confidence. Her teaching journey has taken her from Fillmore Central Schools to Austin Public Schools in Austin, MN, and Anoka-Hennepin School District in the Twin Cities, with exciting international teaching experiences in both Korea and China.

Under Maria’s direction, her choirs have had meaningful experiences, with many students selected for regional and state ACDA honor choirs. In 2017, she proudly led the Ellis Middle School Choir in a performance at the Minnesota ACDA State Conference. She has also served as a conductor for the Gopher Conference Honor Choir and the Minnesota ACDA 9–10 SSAA Honor Choir.

When she’s not making music, you’ll find her traveling, seeking out new experiences, enjoying great food as a proud foodie, and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northwestern–St. Paul and a Master of Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign.
