Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming's children's book, and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one family-friendly blockbuster that audiences will find "Truly Scrumptious."

An eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts sets about restoring an old race car from a scrap heap with the help of his children, Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car has magical properties, including the ability to float and take flight. Trouble occurs when the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself. The family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and batty Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher.

Auditions

Auditions for singers currently in grades 9-12, college students, and adults of all ages will be scheduled for Saturday, March 2 (morning/afternoon), Tuesday, March 5 (evening) and Wednesday, March 6 (evening). Follow the steps below to obtain an audition appointment.

STEP ONE: Review the rehearsal and performance expectations by clicking below. Make sure you are able to commit to the schedule should you be offered a role.

STEP TWO: Request an audition by clicking below and submitting the audition form. Once registered, you will receive notification of audition specifics. Registration deadline is FRIDAY, March 1 at 5PM.

STEP THREE: Once you are assigned an audition date and time, you can start preparing for your audition! Music for song cuts will be provided in your audition confirmation email. Contact the Honors Choirs office with any questions.
